Pcre (1) is unmaintained and reached its end of life in 2021.
The base system provides pcre2 exclusively since May.

Replace my own patch with the upstream solution, which they issued
in response to my bug report.
(Two patches as they overlooked something on the first try.

Update wget to 1.21.3
* Remove patch 100-fix-hsts-time.patch as upstream has issued
its own version on the fixes
* Add a hack (and fixup autoreconf) to fix an upstream bug that
forces the nettle library into nossl even if NTLM is disabled.
Upstream bug filed: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?63431
* Remove old maintainer who has not been active

`time_t` on musl 1.2 is 64bit, while `long` is 32 bit. we will always get zero time with the original source on mips big endian.

The idea behind this is to prevent confusion between "virtual" package
wget and real one. Wget is provided by not just wget packages but also
by uclient-fetch so technically it is better to threat wget as virtual
package.

This is to address the need for specifying dependency on a wget
implementation with ssl support.
Now we have a game of names for opkg
1. uclient-fetch: minimal version by openwrt project
2. wget-nossl: gnu wget w/o ssl support
3. wget-ssl: for the moment since this commit, gnu wget w/ ssl support
4. wget: uclient-fetch, wget-nossl, or wget-ssl
5. gnu-wget: wget-nossl or wget-ssl
By the time we provide some dummy package like uclient-fetch-ssl and
make it also provide wget-ssl, I guess by then we will also need
gnu-wget-ssl...

The package wget should not say that it provides itself.
This also make gnu-wget provide general so it is not written in Makefile
twice.

This removes lines that set PKG_BUILD_DIR when the set value is no
different from the default value.
Specifically, the line is removed if the assigned value is:
* $(BUILD_DIR)/$(PKG_NAME)-$(BUILD_VARIANT)/$(PKG_NAME)-$(PKG_VERSION)
The default PKG_BUILD_DIR was updated[1] to incorporate BUILD_VARIANT
if it is set, so now this is identical to the default value.
* $(BUILD_DIR)/$(PKG_NAME)-$(BUILD_VARIANT)/$(PKG_SOURCE_SUBDIR)
if PKG_SOURCE_SUBDIR is set to $(PKG_NAME)-$(PKG_VERSION), making it
the same as the previous case
* $(BUILD_DIR)/$(PKG_NAME)-$(PKG_VERSION)
This is the same as the default PKG_BUILD_DIR when there is no
BUILD_VARIANT.
* $(BUILD_DIR)/[name]-$(PKG_VERSION)
where [name] is a string that is identical to PKG_NAME

The CONTRIBUTING.md requests an (or multiple) SPDX identifier for GPL
licenses. But a lot of packages did use a different, non-SPDX style with a
"+" at the end instead of "-or-later".

So that packages like acme requiring features from it can depend on it
explicitly, not the more basic "wget" which is also provided by
"uclient-fetch"

The configure script uses a deprecated function to check for libssl. I tried patching configure.ac
and adding PKG_FIXUP:=autoreconf but that causes a different error. This is the simplest fix.

Disable linkage to libunistring with a hack: advice configure
to use included libunistring when there is actually none.
This avoids libunistring detection in buildbot the the need
for dependency.

revert the update as the new wget version links to libunistring
that is a rather large library. Better to revert the update now
in order to fix buildbot and then look into solutions.

postrm/postinst symlink mangling is frowned upon
by trunk devs, in addition to packages modifying
the files as other packages during
installation/removal (without a agreed upon mechanism
for coordinating such changes) is prohibited in
most distros.
Further in this case results in wget-ssl failing to conflict
with wget-nossl. As mentioned in the github issue
regarding this (https://github.com/openwrt/packages/issues/2728)
it is also unnessary in current openwrt/lede.
This patch there makes the symlink from the specific
flavour of wget (e.g. wget-ssl) from /usr/bin/wget part
of /install so that they conflict with each other the
way they should, and do not modify the same files
without a delibarate --force-overwrite.

Update wget to version 1.17.1.
Remove patches as they are included upstream.
Changes in Wget 1.17.1
* Fix compile error when IPv6 is disabled or SSL is not present.
* Fix HSTS memory leak.
* Fix progress output in non-C locales.
* Fix SIGSEGV when -N and --content-disposition are used together.
* Add --check-certificate=quiet to tell wget to not print any warning
about invalid certificates.
